Installation Guide – Integrate runScrum into MSTeams

Please note that you can only install runScrum in Microsoft Teams after you`ve installed it on your SharePoint and created your first ART.

If you want to install the runScrum application in a new team channel, please create it first. Otherwise, you can skip this step and use one of your existing team channels.

2. Create new team Site

The available modules are as follows: runScrum Agile Board, runScrum ART Details Page, runScrum PI Backlog, runScrum Team Management, runScrum Timesheet and runScrum Service Desk.

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to the App Store.
  2. In the search bar, enter the runScrum module you would like to add.
  3. Select the desired runScrum module and click on “Add to a team”.

Select the team channel you`d like the module to be added to.


Click on “Set up a tab” and then on “Save”. The selected module is now added as a tab in the team channel.


Now, it’s time to connect your team channel with the respective runScrum module. To do this, please copy the SharePoint link right up to /SitePages. Be careful not to copy the slash at the end.
Paste the URL into the field provided in MS Teams.


Click “Apply” and there you have it! You are ready to use your runScrum in MS Teams. For all other runScrum modules, please repeat steps 2 to 4.
